NUTRITION

Good nutrition is essential for achieving optimal results when working out – you cannot do one without the other as they are mutually inclusive and necessary. When engaging in physical activity, the body requires energy to perform, and proper nutrition provides that energy. Consuming a balanced diet that includes adequate amounts of protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats can help enhance muscle growth and repair, improve endurance, and increase overall performance. Additionally, a nutritious diet can help prevent injury and support the immune system, allowing for more consistent and effective training sessions.

 

I can help you identify your specific nutritional needs based on your age, current weight, desired weight, and level of activity.  Together we will work through the metrics of calculating your optimal BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) to identify the required amounts of Protein, Carbs, and healthy Fats you require on a daily basis to help you achieve your fitness goals.  I will take it a step further and help develop a customized meal plan for you that supports these metrics and takes out the mystery and confusion of what you should and should not consume. 

 

Without a good nutrition plan to accompany your workout regime, achieving and maintaining your health and fitness goals will be much more difficult. You really need to do both!
